Client Responsibility
The Client acknowledges and agrees that they are responsible for:
Their own actions while on the property.
The actions of all guests attending the event.
All vendors hired by the Client.
Children attending the event.
Any individual invited by the Client.
Property Damage
The Client accepts financial responsibility for damage to the Venue or its contents resulting from:
Damage may include, but is not limited to:
Walls
Doors
Windows
Floors
Furniture
Fixtures
Televisions
Projector equipment
Audio/Visual equipment
Restrooms
Bar area
Landscaping
Exterior property
Normal wear and tear is excluded.
Personal Property
The Client understands that La Chas Place is not responsible for:
Clients are encouraged to remove all personal property immediately following the event.
Vendor Responsibility
The Client understands they are responsible for ensuring all vendors comply with Venue policies.
The Client remains financially responsible for damage caused by any vendor hired by them.
Alcohol Responsibility
If alcohol is served:
The Client agrees:
Alcohol will be served in compliance with Florida law.
No alcohol will be served to minors.
Guests who appear intoxicated will not be encouraged to continue consuming alcohol.
The Client accepts responsibility for the actions of guests consuming alcohol.
Assumption of Risk
The Client understands that participation in events involves inherent risks.
By entering the Venue, the Client voluntarily assumes responsibility for risks associated with hosting and attending an event, including those arising from guest activities.
Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, the Client agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless La Chas Place LLC, its owners, officers, employees, agents, and representatives from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of:
Nothing in this Agreement is intended to waive rights or liabilities that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
Indemnification
The Client agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless La Chas Place LLC from any claims, lawsuits, damages, losses, costs, or attorney's fees arising from the Client's event, except where prohibited by law or resulting from the Venue's own negligence.
Emergency Situations
The Client agrees to immediately follow all instructions provided by Venue staff or emergency personnel in the event of:
Fire
Medical emergency
Severe weather
Power outage
Security concern
Evacuation
Venue Authority
La Chas Place reserves the right to:
Stop unsafe activities.
Remove disruptive guests.
End alcohol service when necessary.
Terminate an event if continued operation presents a safety risk or violates Venue policies.
Such actions are intended to protect guests, staff, and property.
Photographs & Marketing
The Client understands that photographs of venue décor or general event setups may be used for marketing purposes unless written notice requesting otherwise is provided before the event.
No personally identifying information will be shared without permission.
